Final day topped all! Started the day in the Silent Disco with DJ Sound Remedy to get pumped. Then I Caught The Lumineers and Grizzly Bear earlier in the day before making my way to Kanye.

Waited almost 2 hours at the stage to get a good spot, but it was worth every minute. This was my first time seeing Yeezy so I had to make it count.

His set was pretty much perfect. Got a taste of like 3 new songs and he played almost every hit I wanted to hear. Only song I really missed was “Through The Wire”. Would’ve preferred that over “Stronger” or “Heartless” but it was all good.

And he only spent like 2 minutes ranting and it wasn’t even a real rant, so that was great since he didn’t waste any time lol.

Day 2 was amazing!! Weather was good, but the grounds were still horrendously muddy.

Kendrick Lamar holds the title for best set so far. And Kings of Leon got rescheduled to today, so I managed to catch the end of their set.

Today I checked out the Silent Disco. I love the concept of it (everyone has a pair of headphones and wirelessly listens and dances to the DJ’s music so you can’t hear anyone or anything else). I stayed for Matt Lipsit and DJ Green Lantern’s sets, who both killed it.

I also found $3 in the mud and a unicorn and horse in the crowd lol.

Saw: Icona Pop, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Kendrick Lamar and Kings of Leon.

Day 1 was ridiculously wet, cold and dirty. It stopped raining for a whole 5 minutes, so I didn’t take too many pictures. 80% of Randall’s Island was a giant mud puddle.

I missed Best Coast because of work and Kings of Leon got cancelled because of the weather, so I only managed to see Of Monsters and Men and Feist.

Loved the dedication of the artists and fans to brave the weather. Feist wanted to keep going even after the staff told her to take an intermission because of risk of being electrocuted lol. 

Haven’t slept yet, been up for 28 hours. Just got back from a 4 hour walk through Central Park, it was very refreshing to be outside during the daylight hours lol.

NY Subway adventures.

This is that day cause I can feel it, you know the type of day you ain’t lettin’ bad vibes invade your spirit.

As the birds chirp your favorite tune, it’s like I’m right back in my momma’s womb cause everything is so serene.

And the temperature is just right, not a worry in sight and plus the sun is shining bright. It’s a beautiful day…it’s a beautiful day.

Finally finally finally!

Macklemore puts on one hell of a show. Bacardi and Rolling Stones host one hell of an event.

The bartenders were like dying to get rid of their alcohol and I became their savior.

Last night was fun. When is an open bar not fun lol.

Free Bacardi/Rolling Stones hosted concert. Fitz and the Tantrums opened, Macklemore is up next.
